Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By accessing or using SyntHire websites, applications, or APIs (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You will not misuse the Services, including by attempting to access non-public areas, interfere with other users, upload unlawful content, or use the Services to discriminate unlawfully against candidates. You are responsible for compliance with employment and privacy laws in your use of interview data.
4. Customer data
You retain rights to data you submit (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services. Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Fees and trials
Paid features are subject to the order form or checkout terms you accept. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Trial access may be limited or withdrawn at any time.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Services, software, and branding. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-generated outputs may be incorrect; you remain responsible for hiring decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS IF NO FEES APPLIED).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or risk to the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless your enterprise agreement specifies otherwise. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version. Material changes may require additional notice where required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
